Storyline:

While signing their divorce papers at the Civil Affairs Bureau, modern couple Ling Mo and Su Ning are unexpectedly transported into a fantasy novel. There, their identities are absurdly reversed. Ling Mo becomes Lin Mo, a death row inmate about to be executed, while Su Ning becomes Su Ning Xue, the doomed empress of a fallen kingdom. From a modern-day star-crossed couple, they become an ancient ruler and his subject, and from then on, survival becomes their top priority.
